How to remove Oder wrought iron?
Recently purchased a new solid black with silver patina wrought iron bed with metal bars the Internet. When he got the boxes had an arm oder and quickly dispose of them. Is the bed that has a kind of soot / painting kind of musty smell permiating that room. The box spring and mattress are not in bed yet. I notified the company and told to clean with a dry cloth and should be fine. I've done it 4 times and each time black residue appears on the web. Any suggestions of what is wrong and how to remove the Oder.
Call again and tell them the issue. Something dry cleaning will not do anything but remove any dust or lying on the surface (and not very well). Tell them they need to let you know what type of product you can use to clean this bed and if he doesn't stop the smell you expect a full refund. I mean, what if you wear linen brand new face and then everything went black about it? They have to be a little more cautious with the quality of the product they are sending out. It is more likely to have something to do with some type of chemical or oil that they put on the bed so as I said, knowing what you can clean it and give it a shot.
