What are the strange things rolling in my bird bath?
I went to clean the bird bath out and there are these things look like giant worms. He can move and can see things in a kind of long black movement within the outer body blank. They also have a little long creeping behind them, like a thread in the same white outer casing. They are creepy and I do not what to do with them. Thay are about 1.5 cm in length and thickness everything. I do not want to kill a beneficial insect, hence my question. .. And why do not birds eat them?? I just did a search on Google images and only result was a person with the question of exactly the same in a blogg!
