need an impressive place in AL?
I know this has been asked a million times, but many of the answers do not apply, so here going … I am a 22 year old student in a health care program at UofT, and I'm moving to the crazy world giant is Toronto. What I want is somewhere "autonomous" – I grew up in Port Credit and then spent 4 years in the united community of the Queen, both with the rules, like Indigo Chapters, Shoppers Drug Mart and McDonald's, but have a wealth of indie cafes and – most importantly – excellent shops where you can read a book or score a single point laptop.The I know of that is almost right is Bloor West Village … I tried myhood.ca and other things to learn more about the 'hood, but I would like more details what they offer! Basically, I would prefer proper Toronto (definitely not beyond Islington Village, Kingston Rd and Finch), TTC accessible, quiet (not Queen W), secure (Parkdale), small (no appendix) and picturesque. Suggestions?
East York is everything you are looking for and more … covers the Danforth (Greek city) in all the shops you need … plenty of cafes (snuggle in) meter (Donlands, Chester, Broadview.Pape) roads … The office of Dr. 's, walk in clinics, pharmacies, etc … …. try .. you'll love. And above all it is safe to walk the streets !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
